Clash of the Titans Alt Ending

Alternate ending: Perseus

After slaying the evil gorgons he arose from their lair while bearing medusa's head. Perseus had slain the gorgons. That gave him more self confidence. But somehow he felt a disturbance. He gazed at the sky when he saw a meteor barreling at him, it was Helios the sun god. Perseus quickly launched for cove behind a boulder. As Helios crashed the heat in the surrounding area increased 10 fold, he left a long stretch of destruction in his path. Perseus jumped from the boulder to aid him and said " For have the gods cursed me, if I may are you Helios god of the sun?"  Helios responded "Aye, a great disturbance has corrupted this land. People are dying to the hands of gods and gods for the first time are unleashing their power upon Mt. Olympus, their own kind." Perseus stood there puzzled; he didn't know what to do. "But, did you not foresee these corruptions aren't the gods capable of anything?" Helios spoke these last words before retiring into the ground. "He lies in the darkest pits of hell, the owner of the book of ill omen, he spread the planar gateways to each do so there is no single domain, and he is Hades the god of death and war. He has devoured the land in darkness and seeks unlimited powers from the gods. No one and nothing can stop him, for he is also a god." This truth Perseus could not bear. He had failed at a task which was never his. Still the burden of 1000 lost souls fell upon his shoulders. "I must now slay Hades." Though he did not heed Helios' warning he traveled through the plains of fire and chaos which were towns he once knew. Until he came upon the planar gateway which stood with several gates all with gods in front of them chained to a never ending guillotine, forever to feel the pain of immortality. Perseus cautiously walked into the domain of Hades and approached the throne. "Ah the pitiful demigod Perseus, he can't even save his loved one in the realm of the humans, more so you're a half god such a task would be easy." Hades snared his smile upon Perseus' eyes. "I am not afraid of you. For you are no god just a disgrace." Hades grew furious and enveloped himself within flames. "You dare talk down to a god. I will destroy you; no better yet you shall be toiled in pain for the rest of eternity!"  Flames boiled out of his eyes as the screams of the lost souls amplified inside the room. "Why am I getting overworked I am a god of all sorts I am always triumphant, I have even brought other gods down to their knees. Why should I be worried?" Hades laughed proudly. In the moments that Hades had been gloating Perseus had disappeared. "Ah well I guess that mortal must have been frightened by my power." Hades began to gloat again. Perseus managed to get behind the throne of Hades. He whispered to himself "May Zeus be with my actions." Perseus thrust his powerful god like sword through the throne. Hades let out a scream that would scare banshees. Darkness left his body and the world. "Blast you foul excuse for a human may hell be cast upon you for the rest of your days!" It had seemed as all of the darkness in the world had come upon Perseus all at once. That's when he looked at his sword he had thought to have slain Hades with. It was black, darker than coal, even darker than the night sky. It became clear that Perseus had sealed Hades within the sword. The power was immense, but Perseus thought he could bear it. The world seemed as it was before but Perseus was still determined to be with Andromeda. He set off to seek her at where the serpent would have devoured her as a tribute. By the time Perseus got there it was too late. Gone with the darkness that corrupted Andromeda's heart and she gave herself to the serpent as if she had no will. Perseus felt defeated for his reason of existence, had gone. He knelt down against the cliff where Andromeda gave her life, and cast the evil sword out into the horizon never to be seen again. From then on Perseus lived in a troubled physiological state, lost in a mental darkness.
